Notice the lines painted on the logs. These were originally painted to make the cabin appear to be constructed of brick and therefore harder to attack.
Pine-log cabing built by Peter the Great in 1703. He lived here while overseeing construction of the begining of what is now St. Petersburg. Cabin contains all period pieces with several personal items of Peter's.
