We flew into Christchurch and drove counter clockwise returning to Christchurch 23 days later. I could not show the 3 day 2 night kayak out of Motueka along the Abel Tasman National Park. What an incredible trip!

Our wine tour of Marlbrough in a '65 Mustang convertible. It's even a left hand drive (which is the "wrong" side for NZ)!!!

Notice the finely coiffured vines as opposed to those typcially found in Napa. This is to allow for more efficient machanical harvesting.
Notice the netting at the base of the vines. Those darn NZ birds will destory the grapes. This is one style of protection. The other covers 4-5 entire rows.

Piction Mailboat cruise guide
A dolphin joined us for part of our Mailboat cruise. That's right, in the Queen Charlotte Sounds, NZ actually delivers mail to permanent residents by boat since no roads exist in the area.
