Cool spider webs seen all over the West Coast. Most of the time only a single web could be seen in a given bush.
The bright sky-blue colour of Entoloma hochstetteri resembles the blue wattle of the kōkako bird; hence the Māori name for this fungus, werewere-kōkako. Found along the Lake Matheson Walkway. Beatiful with the lush surrounding greenery but how deadly does it look?
